• Appropriates $235,348,114.00 in General Funds and authorizes $391,916,448.00 in special funds for the Department of Mental Health for fiscal year 2012 (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012).

• Allocates $13,951,886.00 from the Health Care Expendable Fund for various mental health services including Medicaid matching funds, psychotropic drugs, Alzheimer's disease programs, crisis centers, and physician services.

• Authorizes specific funding and staffing for multiple state mental health institutions including Mississippi State Hospital (2,045 permanent full-time positions), Ellisville State School and Farm (1,540 permanent full-time positions), and five regional centers.
