Authorizes the Jackson County Board of Supervisors and the City of Pascagoula governing authorities to jointly create the LaPointe-Krebs Foundation, Inc. as a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation.

Foundation purpose is to preserve, maintain, and operate the LaPointe-Krebs House (known locally as the "Old Spanish Fort") as a historic property for future generations.

Relationship between Jackson County and the City of Pascagoula regarding foundation operation, maintenance, funding, staffing, and membership shall be established through a memorandum of agreement.

Both entities are authorized to provide assistance and support to the foundation once incorporated, with all operational details to be determined in the memorandum of agreement.

Effective upon passage.
