Marshall County Board of Supervisors is authorized to establish the Cayce Community Sewer District comprising specified sections of land in Marshall County (Sections 14-16 and 21-23, Township 1 South, Range 4 West).

The Marshall County Board of Supervisors serves as the governing authority for the district.

The district is granted all powers regarding wastewater facilities under Mississippi Code Section 19-5-151 et seq. to provide sewer service to residents in the designated area.

District property and revenue are exempt from state, county, and municipal taxation.

Any franchised area currently operated by Marshall Utility Services, Inc. may be utilized by the Cayce Utility District with permission from that company.
