Amends Section 21-8-7 of the Mississippi Code to revise the population threshold for when council members may have individual offices in city hall.

Raises the population requirement from an unspecified lower threshold to municipalities with a population of 100,000 or above according to the latest federal decennial census.

Council members in municipalities below 100,000 population may not maintain individual offices at city hall, though they receive clerical support and expense reimbursement from the municipality.

Applies to municipalities operating under the mayor-council form of government with elected councils and mayors serving four-year terms.

Takes effect upon passage.
