Recognizes the unveiling of a Mississippi Blues Trail Marker at the "Mississippi Music Celebration at the GRAMMY Museum" in Los Angeles on February 10, 2011, during GRAMMY Week.

Acknowledges Mississippi's central role in the creation and development of blues music, noting that more blues singers have come from Mississippi Delta than all other Southern states combined.

Honors notable Mississippi blues musicians including Son House, Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton, Muddy Waters, Skip James, Bukka White, John Lee Hooker, and B.B. King.

Notes the Mississippi Blues Trail is a project by the Mississippi Blues Commission placing interpretive markers at historical blues sites throughout Mississippi, extending from Louisiana to Memphis, Tennessee, with the Parchman marker being the 113th.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the GRAMMY Museum, Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, California Governor Jerry Brown, and the Mississippi Development Authority.
