Recognizes Brown's leadership over MDOT's administrative and technical operations including airport and port development, highway construction and maintenance, weight enforcement, public transit, and rail safety.

Highlights Brown's extensive board service including positions with AASHTO (serving as Vice President in 2008 and President from 2009-2010), SASHTO, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Notes Brown's prior career as Mayor of Natchez, Mississippi (1992-2000), University of Southern Mississippi instructor, and businessman in transportation, warehousing, real estate, and hospitality.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Brown, the Mississippi Transportation Commission, and the Capitol Press Corps.
