Honors Alford's 44 years of service as District 4 Walthall County Supervisor since 1968, making him Mississippi's longest serving Supervisor at the time of his death

Recognizes his leadership in the Mississippi Association of Supervisors, including serving as MAS President in 1993 and Chairman of the Executive Committee at the time of his passing

Commends his military service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and his community involvement as a Mason, Shriner, and Chairman of Deacons at Salem Baptist Church

Extends sympathy to his surviving family and directs the resolution be presented to them and the Walthall County Board of Supervisors
