Designates February 2011 as "School Bus Safety Awareness Month" in Mississippi to promote awareness of school bus safety during a month with high rates of school bus-related collisions.

Calls upon all school districts, school bus drivers, parents, and citizens to cooperate in safety initiatives to protect the thousands of children who rely on buses for daily transportation.

Highlights that school buses are 87 times safer than passenger cars for children ages 5-18 during school transportation hours, with an average of only six child fatalities per year nationwide over the past decade.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the State Board of Education for dissemination to school districts and the Capitol Press Corps.
