Recognizes and commends 10th Chancery District Judge Sebe Dale, Jr. upon his retirement on December 31, 2010, after 32 years of service to the Mississippi Bar and citizens of his district.

The 10th Chancery District includes Forrest, Lamar, Marion, Pearl River and Perry Counties; Chancellor Dale began serving in 1978 and previously served 10 years as Youth Court Referee starting in 1968.

Judge Dale served 21 years on the Mississippi Judicial College Board of Governors, including 18 years as Chairman, responsible for educating and training court-related personnel.

Previously served as Chairman of the Conference of Chancery Judges and Mississippi Children's Code Commission, former President of Marion County Bar Association and Bar Commissioner with 62 years of Bar membership.

The Marion County Chancery Court Building in Columbia was renamed the Sebe Dale, Jr. Chancery Court Building on November 12, 2010, in his honor.
