Urges President Obama and Congress to extend the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act, which was set to expire on October 1, 2011.

Directs funding to 33 Mississippi counties with substantial National Forest lands that cannot be developed or taxed, providing critical revenue for roads and schools.

Notes the act has provided consistent and necessary funding for schools, teachers, students, and local economic development in affected counties since its passage in December 2000.

Requires the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Congress, Mississippi's Governor, the state's congressional delegation, and press corps.
