Commends and congratulates the Meridian High School "Wildcats" Boys Basketball Team and Head Coach Randy Bolden for winning the MHSAA Class 6A State Championship on March 5, 2011, with a 62-47 victory over Vicksburg.

Recognizes the team's 15-game winning streak to finish the season and their No. 1 state ranking, defeating 4 teams in the final Super 10 rankings.

Honors senior star Rodney Hood, who scored 24 points in the championship game (7 of 14 from the floor, 10 of 10 from the free throw line) along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

Lists the 15-member championship roster including 6 seniors (Hood, Cherry, Coleman, Smith, Marcus Hurn, and Matthew Hurn), Head Coach Bolden, three assistant coaches, and the team manager.
