Creates Section 27-104-154 requiring each state agency and local governmental body that maintains an internet website to post information on expenditures of state, federal, and local funds in a clear, searchable format.

Mandates disclosure of recipient names and locations, expenditure amounts, purpose descriptions, general and specific sources of authority, transaction type, and other pertinent information, excluding confidential personal or proprietary data.

Requires agencies and local governmental bodies to update expenditure information on their websites at least quarterly.

Defines "local governmental body" as any political subdivision including counties, municipalities, school districts, and other specially created local districts under the Mississippi Accountability and Transparency Act.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
