MS HB1201

Requires motor fuel pumps containing at least 1% ethanol or methanol by volume (delivered within 60 days) to display prominent labels stating "Contains Ethanol" or "Contains Methanol" with block letters at least 1/2 inch high and 1/4 inch wide in contrasting colors.

Mandates additional percentage labeling on pumps if fuel contains 10% or more ethanol or 5% or more methanol, showing the highest percentage delivered to that storage tank within the 60-day period.

Requires fuel sellers to disclose on request the percentage of ethanol and methanol in motor fuel being sold, and if methanol is present, the types and percentages of associated cosolvents.

Authorizes the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Commissioner to promulgate rules implementing these labeling and disclosure requirements.

Brings forward sections 75-55-5 through 75-55-37 of Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding gasoline and petroleum products standards and specifications, set to expire July 1, 2013.
