Amends Section 85-7-185 of the Mississippi Code to require contractors and subcontractors to provide a copy of performance bonds upon request.

Subcontractors supplying labor or materials may request a true and correct copy of the bond from the owner or contractor.

Maintains existing provisions that bonds guarantee faithful performance of construction contracts and ensure payment to all laborers and material suppliers.

Allows laborers and material suppliers to intervene in bond disputes and seek judgment, with priority given to the obligee's claims.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
