Increases the uniform total fee paid to constables in all criminal cases from an unspecified previous amount to $45.00 per case.

Revises constable mileage reimbursement for conveying persons charged with crimes to jail to match the rate established under Section 25-3-41(2), replacing a prior reimbursement structure.

Maintains existing constable fees for civil cases ($35.00), additional defendants ($5.00 per defendant), and other services including levy of execution and attachment proceedings.

Requires the Mississippi Attorney General to submit the act to the U.S. Attorney General or U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for preclearance under the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Takes effect upon approval under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended and extended.
