Authorizes chancery courts to order persons held in mental health facilities if the court finds through evidence and testimony that they have a propensity to commit a sex offense as defined in Section 45-33-23

Persons ordered held shall remain in the mental health facility until two licensed physicians determine through physical and mental examination that the person no longer has a propensity to commit a sex offense

Effective date is July 1, 2012
