Authorizes chancery courts to order individuals held in mental health facilities if the court finds through evidence and testimony that they have a propensity to commit sex offenses as defined in Mississippi Code Section 45-33-23

Requires individuals ordered into custody to remain in the mental health facility until two licensed physicians determine through physical and mental examination that the person no longer has a propensity to commit sex offenses

Takes effect July 1, 2012
