MS HB1349

Allows the Executive Director of the Mississippi Development Authority to earn more than 150% of the Governor's salary and permits salary supplementation from federal or private funds, provided state funds do not exceed 150% of the Governor's salary.

Requires the Mississippi Development Authority to publish on its website the amount of any private fund supplements to the Executive Director's salary and the name of the private donor.

Maintains the restriction that the Governor's Chief of Staff salary cannot exceed 150% of the Governor's salary and must be paid entirely by state funds without supplementation.

Revises the State Public Defender's salary to be no more than the maximum amount allowed by statute for a district attorney.

Effective upon passage.
