Prohibits hunting within incorporated limits of any municipality with a population exceeding 170,000 according to the 2010 census.

Violators face misdemeanor penalties of $100-$500 fine or 60 days to 6 months in county jail, and mandatory hunting license revocation by the Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Amends Section 97-15-13 to include municipalities over 170,000 population in the definition of prohibited areas for possessing loaded firearms during deer and turkey hunting seasons.

Brings forward Section 49-7-27 regarding hunting license revocation authority, including one-year license suspension periods and mandatory 30-day to 6-month jail terms for violators hunting during revocation.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
