Requires all physicians performing abortions in abortion facilities to have admitting privileges at a local hospital and staff privileges to replace on-staff physicians.

Mandates that all physicians associated with abortion facilities be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.

Requires a staff member trained in CPR to be present at abortion facilities whenever the facility is open.

Applies to abortion facilities defined as those performing 10 or more abortion procedures per month, 100 or more annually, or those advertising abortion services.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
