Parents may tape record their child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting at their own expense with three-day written notice to the school district.

Parents must receive a copy of their child's evaluation report at least seven days before the eligibility determination and/or IEP meeting, unless the parent waives this requirement in writing.

Outside entities contracted to observe a child for IEP recommendation purposes must submit their observation report to the local educational agency within fourteen calendar days.

Local educational agencies must notify parents in writing within three school days of receiving an outside observation report.
