Provides a $65,000 death benefit payment to beneficiaries when emergency management personnel are killed while performing official duties, matching the existing benefit for law enforcement officers and firefighters

Extends the Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters Disability Benefits Trust Fund coverage to emergency management agency personnel injured in the line of duty

Disability benefits equal 34% of the covered individual's regular base salary at the time of injury, payable for up to 12 months while the individual cannot perform their duties

Renames both trust funds to "Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters and Emergency Management Agency Personnel" Death/Disability Benefits Trust Funds, effective July 1, 2012
