Authorizes federal law enforcement officers employed by the U.S. government to bear arms, make arrests, and conduct searches and seizures when working in cooperation with local law enforcement officers in Mississippi.

Requires that federal law enforcement officers obtain appropriate affidavits and search warrants from the proper jurisdiction under state law before conducting searches or seizures.

Defines "federal law enforcement officer" as a full-time U.S. government employee authorized to arrest for federal code violations, authorized to carry firearms, and who has received law enforcement training.

Provides that federal law enforcement officers acting within their authority are deemed to be acting within the scope of public employment for purposes of defense and indemnification rights under applicable law.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
