Allows applicants who completed a practical nursing program between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2011, to qualify for licensure as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) if the program had preliminary accreditation that subsequently received initial or final accreditation.

Adds a new qualification requirement (subsection e) to Section 73-15-21 requiring written evidence of completion from an institution with the specified accreditation status during the 2011 calendar year.

Applicants must still meet all other existing LPN licensure requirements, including high school diploma, criminal background checks, English language competency, and successful passage of the licensing examination.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
