Amends Section 11-7-13, Mississippi Code of 1972 to clarify that only specific persons may bring wrongful death actions: widow, husband, child, parent, sibling, or the personal representative of the deceased.

Establishes that only the persons listed in the statute shall be considered "interested parties" in wrongful death claims, making the list exclusive.

Applies to deaths caused by wrongful acts, negligence, unsafe machinery, or breaches of warranty regarding food, drugs, medicines, beverages, tobacco, and other consumer products.

Specifies that damages recovered include property damages and funeral, medical, or related expenses, with distribution based on the deceased's surviving family members (spouse, children, parents, or siblings).

Takes effect upon passage.
