Requires insurance companies to report to the Department of Public Safety the effective dates and vehicle identification numbers (VINs) of all motor vehicle liability policies for vehicles registered in Mississippi

Mandates insurance companies notify the Department of Public Safety within 2 working days when any motor vehicle liability insurance policy is canceled, terminated, or lapses

Authorizes the Department of Public Safety to search its records and send written notice to vehicle owners when records indicate a vehicle lacks liability insurance coverage

Gives vehicle owners 30 days after receiving notice to provide proof of motor vehicle liability insurance for the vehicle in question

Suspends both the vehicle registration and the owner's driver's license if proof of insurance is not provided within the 30-day period, with suspension continuing until proof is furnished
