Appropriates $8,966,255.00 from the State General Fund and $14,811,177.00 from special funds to the Department of Archives and History for fiscal year 2013 (July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013).

Authorizes 137 permanent full-time positions, 6 permanent part-time positions, and 6 time-limited full-time positions for the department.

Allocates $2,000,000.00 from the Mississippi Landmark Grant Fund for preservation of Mississippi Landmark Properties and $100,000.00 specifically for maintaining Beauvoir Shrine, Jefferson Davis's former home.

Designates $750,000.00 for repair and renovation of the New Capitol, Old Capitol, Governor's Mansion, and War Memorial Building, and $50,000.00 for the Statewide Oral History Project.

Provides $100,000.00 for the Mississippi Bicentennial Celebration Commission planning for the 2017 celebration and $139,500.00 for historic preservation projects in Smithville and Windsor Ruins.
