Entities criminally convicted of intentionally hiring or employing illegal aliens become ineligible to receive state or local government bonds, loans, grants, or other financial assistance.

Entities that received financial incentive funds prior to conviction must repay the full amount of bonds, loans, grants, or other assistance to the state or political subdivision upon conviction.

Defines "illegal alien" as any non-U.S. citizen not lawfully admitted for residence, employment, or other purposes under federal law or by the U.S. Attorney General.

Effective date of July 1, 2012.
