Increases excise tax on distilled spirits to $3.75 per gallon, sparkling wine and champagne to $1.50 per gallon, and other wines to $0.525 per gallon.

Increases markup on all alcoholic beverages sold by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division from the current rate to 4.5%.

Increases total markup on alcoholic beverages to 41.25%, inclusive of the 4.5% markup imposed under Section 27-71-7(2).

Increases excise tax on light wines and beer to $0.6402 (64.02 cents) per gallon for wholesalers, distributors, and brewpubs.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
