Exempts retail sales of firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies from sales tax during the annual Mississippi Second Amendment Weekend holiday, beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the first Friday in September and ending at 12:00 midnight the following Sunday.

Defines "firearms" as handguns, rifles, and shotguns per Section 97-37-14.

Defines "hunting supplies" to include archery equipment, accessories, animal feed, apparel, shoes, bags, float tubes, binoculars, tools, cases, range finders, knives, decoys, tree stands, blinds, chairs, optics, hearing protection, holsters, belts, slings, boats, and all-terrain vehicles, but excludes animals used for hunting.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
