Amends Section 47-7-27 of the Mississippi Code to require that time an offender serves on parole before revocation be credited toward the original sentence imposed by the trial court.

Applies the parole time credit requirement both when parole is revoked and the offender must serve the remainder of the original sentence, and when a second parole is not granted.

Maintains existing parole revocation procedures, including the board's authority to issue warrants for offenders violating parole conditions and the requirement to provide offenders a hearing opportunity before revocation.

Takes effect upon passage.
