Drug task forces may collect prescription pills and drugs brought to their main offices from residential sources on the first Monday of each month.

Collected pills and drugs must be transported to the incinerator maintained by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics for disposal.

"Drug task force" is defined as a drug or narcotics task force or enforcement team created through an interlocal cooperation agreement under Section 17-13-1 et seq.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
