Amends Section 99-19-55 of the Mississippi Code to remove the requirement that all male death row inmates be housed specifically at the State Penitentiary at Parchman.

Allows male inmates convicted of capital offenses with death sentences to be housed at any appropriate maximum security facility designated by the Commissioner of Corrections.

Maintains existing provisions for female death row inmates to be housed in appropriate facilities designated by the Commissioner of Corrections.

Retains all other execution procedures including timing (6:00 p.m. or within 24 hours), witness requirements, and documentation requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
