Amends Section 73-13-41 of the Mississippi Code to add a new exemption (g) allowing individuals and firms to conduct litigation-related engineering work without state licensure.

Permits unlicensed engineers to evaluate, consult, reconstruct, test, and offer expert testimony in cases involving product warranty breaches, product liability claims, and negligence claims related to product design, development, manufacture, testing, warnings, distribution, or sale.

Subjects unlicensed individuals performing such litigation work to court jurisdiction rather than state licensing board oversight.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
