Amends the Public Transit Task Force established in 2010 to extend reporting deadlines to the 2012 and 2013 regular legislative sessions.

Adds one (1) member appointed by AARP to the task force membership.

Task force composition includes House and Senate transportation committee chairs, legislative appointees, Mississippi Public Transportation Association representatives, state agency directors, three (3) gubernatorial appointees, and the AARP appointee.

Task force shall study present and future public transportation needs in Mississippi and present findings and recommendations to the legislature.

Takes effect upon passage.
