Amends Section 63-11-19 of Mississippi Code to remove the requirement that methods, machines, or devices used in chemical analysis be tested and certified periodically.

Maintains existing requirements that chemical analysis of breath, blood, or urine must be performed according to methods approved by the State Crime Laboratory and Commissioner of Public Safety.

Continues to require that analysis be performed by individuals possessing valid permits issued by the State Crime Laboratory.

Preserves State Crime Laboratory and Commissioner of Public Safety authority to approve techniques, methods, and qualifications of individuals conducting analyses, and to terminate or revoke permits.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
