Extends the repeal date from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2015 for the requirement that the Mississippi Boll Weevil Management Corporation submit an annual audit to the Department of Agriculture and Commerce by November 15 each year

The underlying law authorizes assessments on cotton growers up to $1.00 per acre for data collection and up to $12.00 per acre for boll weevil eradication programs, subject to referendum approval

Referendum passage requires at least 20% of registered cotton growers to vote and a majority of those voting to approve

Assessment revenues are deposited into the Mississippi Boll Weevil Management Corporation Trust Fund in the State Treasury, with unexpended amounts divested to the corporation at fiscal year end

Effective date of July 1, 2012
