Amends Section 41-57-23 of the Mississippi Code to establish a one-year rescission period for voluntary acknowledgments of paternity.

Allows any signatory to rescind a signed voluntary acknowledgment of paternity within one year or before a judicial proceeding relating to the child, whichever occurs first.

After the one-year period expires, a voluntary acknowledgment may only be challenged in court on grounds of fraud, duress, or material mistake of fact, with the burden of proof on the challenger.

Specifies that legal responsibilities and child support obligations arising from the acknowledgment cannot be suspended during a challenge except for good cause shown.

Effective upon passage.
