Extends the repeal date of the Hancock County Tourism Development Bureau from March 1, 2012 to July 1, 2014.

Authorizes a tourism development tax of up to 2% on gross proceeds from room rentals at hotels, motels, and similar lodging establishments in Hancock County.

Creates a nine-member bureau appointed by the Board of Supervisors (4 members), Cities of Bay St. Louis and Waveland (2 members each), and Hancock County Chamber of Commerce (1 member) to promote tourism and develop tourism-related activities.

Tax proceeds, less 3% retained by Department of Revenue for collection costs, are dedicated solely to bureau promotion of tourism and cannot be used as general county funds.

Allows the Board of Supervisors to contract with not-for-profit organizations for tourism advertising, marketing, and promotion services while preserving the bureau's authority.
