Amends Section 27-105-305 of the Mississippi Code to revise how county boards of supervisors select bank depositories for county funds.

Allows the board of supervisors to submit all bids to the State Treasurer if accepting any bid would create a direct or indirect financial interest for a board member.

Grants the State Treasurer the same authority as the board of supervisors to evaluate bids, select depositories, approve securities, and transfer funds between accounts when bids are submitted.

Prohibits the board of supervisors from opening or considering any bid that would result in a direct or indirect financial interest for a board member if the board elects to review bids itself.

Takes effect upon passage.
