Recognizes the Mississippi chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for their service to local communities and the state.

Commemorates the 11th year observance of "Alpha Kappa Alpha Day at the Capitol," an annual event to promote the sorority's public policy agenda.

Notes that the 32 Mississippi chapters are part of the Southeastern Region, which logged 185,106 volunteer hours and impacted over 856,323 lives during the 2010-2014 program period.

Acknowledges seven women serving in the Mississippi Legislature who are Alpha Kappa Alpha members, including Representatives Williams-Barnes and Buck who serve as legislative liaisons for the Capitol Day event.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the Southeastern Regional Director, International President, the presidents of all 32 Mississippi chapters, and the Capitol Press Corps.
