Commends Dr. Stephen Sudderth of Vicksburg, Mississippi, as the second physician in the state to obtain board certification in comprehensive obesity treatment from the American Board of Bariatric Medicine.

Recognizes Dr. Sudderth's medical credentials, including his M.D. from Louisiana State University School of Medicine (1988) and Chief Residency in General Surgery at University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Acknowledges his extensive publications and presentations on obesity treatment, including his article "Mississippi, America's Most Obese State: How Can We Salvage Her Future?" in the Mississippi State Medical Association Journal (March 2011).

Notes Mississippi's obesity rate of 34.4 percent as the highest in the nation and commends Dr. Sudderth's efforts helping Mississippians lose thousands of pounds through his practices at Premier Medical Weight Loss of Mississippi and Vicksburg Surgical Associates.
