Commends and congratulates the Itawamba Community College Lady Indian Basketball Team for winning the North Division Championship with a perfect 12-0 record and undefeated 19-0 regular season against Mississippi contenders.

Recognizes Head Coach Nanci Gray for winning the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges "Coach of the Year" award and leading the team to the school's third state championship title.

Notes the team's overall 26-3 record for the 2011-2012 season and National Junior College Athletic Association Division I ranking of 21 out of more than 350 women's teams.

Acknowledges the support staff including assistant coach Robin Porter, managers, trainer, statistician, and video coordinator for their contributions to the team's success.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Coach Gray, ICC President Dr. David C. Cole, the Board of Trustees of the State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the Capitol Press Corps.
