Documents the institution's history including its 1962 establishment as Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College District and 1965 expansion to become the first multi-campus junior college in Mississippi.

Lists all 12 Chief Executive Officers who have served MGCCC from 1912 through 2012, with Mary S. Graham serving as president at the time of the resolution.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to MGCCC leadership, the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges, and the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.
