Mississippi Legislature applies for an amendments convention under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to propose an amendment requiring state legislature approval for any increase in federal debt.

The convention must be limited exclusively to proposing an amendment requiring a majority of state legislatures to approve increases in federal debt.

This application remains in effect as a continuing application until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit equivalent applications for the same limited amendments convention.

Secretary of State must send copies of the resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mississippi's Congressional Delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
