Commends the Picayune High School Maroon Tide Football Team and Head Coach Dodd Lee for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 5A State Championship on December 2, 2011.

Recognizes the team's achievement of 13 victories in a single season, the first time in school football history, and their first state championship since 1986.

Notes the team defeated Starkville High School 38-21 in the championship game at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium before 8,500 spectators.

Lists the complete 2011 varsity roster of 49 players, head coach Dodd Lee, and seven assistant coaches.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Coach Dodd Lee, Principal Kent Kirkland, the Picayune School Board, and the Capitol Press Corps.
