Request Congress to call a constitutional convention under Article V for the sole purpose of proposing an amendment protecting parental rights to direct upbringing and education of children.

Proposed amendment would establish parental liberty as a fundamental right that cannot be infringed without demonstrating a governmental interest of the highest order.

Proposed amendment would prohibit any treaty or source of international law from superseding, modifying, or interpreting the parental rights guaranteed by the amendment.

Urge legislatures of all states to apply to Congress to call such a convention, as required by Article V when two-thirds of state legislatures make application.

Direct transmission of resolution to U.S. Senate and House leadership, Mississippi's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislative bodies.
