Recognizes Darwin's significant contributions to the radio industry over a twenty-year period, including 15 years in the country music format.

Notes Darwin's career achievements since 1970, including programming or advising more than 750 country radio stations nationwide and earning seven consecutive years as Billboard's Consultant of the Year.

Acknowledges Darwin's influential Rusty Walker Programming Firm as one of the nation's most prominent program consulting firms in the industry.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Sammy Darwin and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
