Commends and congratulates the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church in Greenwood, Mississippi, on its 95th anniversary celebration scheduled for September 28-29, 2012.

Recognizes that the church was organized in 1917 by 14 founding members in a storefront on Avenue G in Greenwood and purchased a lot on Scott Street and Avenue G in 1919 for $250.

Acknowledges the church's history as a member of the white conference of Seventh-day Adventists until 1944, when it joined the first South Central Conference serving African-American congregations across five states.

Honors the church's leadership throughout its history, including founding president Elder H.R. Murphy and current president Elder Dana C. Edmond.

Directs copies of the resolution to be provided to the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Capitol Press Corps.
