Commends and congratulates Mr. Stephan M. Nelson upon being elected by acclamation as the 46th President of the Phi Kappa Tau National Fraternity.

Recognizes Mr. Nelson's extensive background including education from University of Southern Mississippi (bachelor's degrees in political science and athletic administration/coaching in 1976-1977) and professional career with the university and private business.

Notes Mr. Nelson's significant civic involvement and service through various fraternity leadership positions, university affiliations, church participation, and community organizations including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Gulfport Kiwanis Club, and youth coaching programs.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Nelson, the Phi Kappa Tau National Fraternity Headquarters, and the Capitol Press Corps.
